Cedar College of
Education opens for the new academic year 2009

The number of different cultures is ever increasing amongst
the Cedar College's student body. Since the inception of the college in
1995, students have represented about 18 countries* with a total of 25** different
cultural groups. With the new intake yet another country was added to the list as
well as another cultural group from South Africa. Ms Jihyun Ryu from Korea has
enolled full-time as well as a Ndebele student from South Africa, Ms Sinhle
Skosana. The rest of the new intake consists of a splendid mixture of Zulu,
Sotho, Indian, Afrikaans and French.
We trust the God will reach His full purpose in each
one's life and that they will be worthy instruments in His hands - missionary teachers
ready and able to obey His calling.
* Switzerland, France, Belgium, The Netherlands,
Germany, Romania, Russia, Hungary, United States of America, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho,
Swaziland, Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi and South Africa.
** Cultures from SA: Zulu, Xhosa, English, Indian,
Sotho, Coloured and Afrikaans.
