Romanian Cultural evening at
mission college - CCE
Every now and then Cedar College of Education (a satellite campus of North-West
University) which is based at Kwasizabantu Mission, highlights one of the many cultures
represented among the students.
On Friday night, 22 August 2008, we were treated to 3 hours of
information, food, enternainment and fun - all to do with Romania. Some of our college
students are Romanian and we also have a family of Romanians (Johnny, his wife and
children) who are at the mission. Johnny led a devotion at the beginning and pointed out
how Paul came across many different cultures in his day. In one place there was even an
idol erected to the "unknown god" and Paul was able to speak into that culture
the Good News of Jesus Christ.
