New Bakery

A new bakery is being completed next to the main shop. It is much bigger than the previous one and should produce 2,000 loaves or more, a day. It will also be used to increase the confectionary production which has been very successful.

The finishing touches are being added and the equipment will probably be wired up before the end of July to start production in August.

26 July - update:
By God's grace the wiring is being completed and the first test batch (see below) has been baked in the oven. The Rotary Rack Oven can bake 80 to 100 loaves every 40 minutes. There is also a fridge, freezer and Prover, besides the general equipment. Mr Helmut Trinkle from KSB in Australia has been assisting with the installation.

9 August 2000 - update
Today, the new bakery was officially opened. About 35 co-workers were present. After some speeches, giving all glory to God for providing so abundantly, the bakery was officially dedicated in prayer. Mr Helmut Trinkle and his wife have assisted in setting up the new bakery.
