| The Smithfield branch of Kwasizbantu has
moved to the northern part of the Free State Province in South Africa, to Virginia. Some
have remained behind at Smithfield to continue the ministry there. For a long time Smithfield has been a dying town, a diminished economy and
fewer opportunities for evangelism. The new centre is much larger, can accommodate their
whole school, has lots of space for beds, has 10 houses, and with 10 hectares it can
continue with their sheep farming. Above all, it is very close to mines and a very large
population. The centre can act as a place for people to come for help (similar to
Kwasizabantu Mission) and has outreach opportunities right on its doorstep. The whole
centre has been in a state of neglect but fixing things up seems to be their forte. See
