REPORT BACK ON FEBRUARY 2012 BALLITO LIFE-CHAIN

The CFT organised Life-Chain at Ballito was very well attended - the best attendence ever. Various churches and organisations joined in the 2 hour demonstration on 4 February 2012. An outstanding characteristic of this event was the large majority of teens and young adults. There is a new generation that feels very strongly about the right to life of unborn children. This is an international trend too. At a January Pro-Life march in Paris, which many members of CFT could attend, as well as some of us from South Africa, it was very obvious that 80% of the 10,000 protesters, were young people.

The South African Life-Chain was part of similar events in other cities to remember the 1 February 1997, abortion on demand promulgation of the law in South Africa.
